Join the team! We are looking for folks who love all animals and have specific experience working with dogs in a setting other than being a pet owner. You must be a self starter and problem solver. You'll fit our team well if you are naturally organized, helpful, friendly and efficient. Working hours vary per week, but would begin as part time with approximately 2-4 days M-F, with walking hours falling roughly between 9:00am-3:00pm. Walks are paid per piece, with a typical day consisting of both 30-minute walks and 1-hr walks. There is room to maximize your income depending on your zest for the work and your interest in growing along with the business. There is also the option to take on additional weekend/evening pet sitting, as well as overnight stays with pets in their homes.

Proven track record of dependability, including punctuality and ability to work independently
Excellent time management skills
Experience that demonstrates history of being a self starter and taking initiative
Proven track record of being a problem solver and working well under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with dogs (above being a pet owner) including interacting with and caring for different breeds, dispositions, ages and physical abilities
Ability and willingness to work in a physically challenging capacity (i.e. walking many miles per day, often in inclement weather and varied terrain)
A reliable vehicle and a general knowledge of the Asheville area
